10 Things I Hate About You (PG-13)

A modern, version of Shakespeare’s “Taming of the Shrew,” this catchy little tale will appeal to teens who enjoy comic, romantic intrigue. The action revolves around a parental rule that dictates that the lovely, popular Bianca Stratford cannot date until her older, sullen sister Kat (Julia Stiles) snags a beau. In a complicated plot, Bianca (Larisa Oleynik) and her hopeful boyfriend Cameron (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) bribe a young man named Patrick (Heath Ledger) to ask Kat out, thus freeing them to see each other. Got it?

Now a classic, this teen comedy has no bells and whiles added to the DVD version. The re-mastered soundtrack comes alive, so get those sub-woofers ready.
