Race to Witch Mountain

This fresh, fast-paced, family-friendly action film from the Disney Studios is an updated remake of their 1975 classic “Escape to Witch Mountain.”  Similar to the original “Escape,” two mysterious teens appear in the taxi of driver Jack Bruno (Dwayne Johnson). Polite, and extremely well spoken, the brother and sister, Seth (Alexander Ludwig) and Sara (AnnaSophia Robb), plead with Bruno to take them to a specific set of geographic coordinates in the desert. They flash a large wad of cash, which further confuses the suspicious driver, but he goes along with their request until it becomes obvious that the two children are in some sort of grown-up trouble. Wishing to help them, Jack Bruno soon finds himself in a world of trouble.
