Ever had a really blue day, the kind that just seems to show up out of the "blue," and you feel that you are hopeless to change that feeling? No matter where you are, you can feel a little better than where you are now. And from that improved feeling, you can reach for another improved thought which leads to an improved feeling. If you do that a few times, in just minutes you will feel much better than where you are now — no matter how you are feeling. Go on, give it a try.

Are you enjoying your life? Are you having fun? If not, what are you waiting for -- more money, a bigger house, a boat, a better boyfriend/girlfriend, a job? None of those things will change your basic constitution. If you were to somehow acquire those things today, which will make you feel good, you will eventually level off to where you are now. BUT, if you make the decision to feel good now, to focus on good-feeling thoughts, those things that you want will most likely come to you faster. And even if they don't, you will feel good now. There is nothing that we want for any other reason than we think we will feel better in the having of it, even if it is something like world peace or food for everyone. Another way to approach life — get happy now, no matter what your current circumstances. Feeling bad will not feed hungry people; feeling bad will not provide a roof over anyone's head. But feeling good will put you in the position to be an uplifter — to help others by empowering them with your good feelings and your inspirational life — with your attitude. At first, negative people (the ones who call themselves "realistic") will be irritated by your positive attitude (happens to me every day). But over time, more and more people will lighten up, and they will, too. Now go, have fun, and feel good! It's important for all of us that YOU feel good.

One more point. With the slow-moving economy, so many people are worried about "losing their homes." No one loses their home without simply giving up or being intimidated by the process. There is always a way to work it out, to smooth out any situation. Just face the situation, be humble with your creditors, BUT have confidence that it will work out as you choose.

Genius is the ability to focus strongly on a particular subject. So doesn't it seem logical that, in order to get what we want, we get serious about developing our ability to focus, and then finding good-feeling thoughts to focus upon, such as how good it will feel to have the things you want? That's how we create the experiences we want — get into a very good-feeling place, then focus focus focus on the things that we want, feeling good as we do so. And whether or not the thing you want manifests today, tomorrow or next year, it really doesn't matter because when you focus on feeling good, it doesn't matter where you are — feeling good is about the best thing there is. And when you get to that place of feeling good and focusing positively on what you want — the thing you want feels like the next logical step.

You might wonder whether your good-feeling is good enough. When you focus your emotions until you reach the level of hope and then the level of belief, you’re there.
